Gentleness on Wednesdays

Poor little BW has a terrible fear of storms.  She only weighs 14 pounds so when I felt the couch shaking I knew she was scared. (She already received a dose of anti-fright meds otherwise she'd have been running around the room jumping and panting.)   I picked her up, moved her close, covered her up, and kept my hand on her.  She calmed a little and the storm moved on.  Most of the time all that is required is a gentle loving spirit of calmness with all of God's creatures.  Please don't try this on anything uncaged at the zoo!

Be mindful of your children, friends (spouses fall in friend category),  and others in your path today and remember to use a gentle spirit.

My birds are singing a happy tune.  Time to take my morning walk around the gardens at Chatt-a-while.

Casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully. 1 Peter 5:7 (AMP)

  1. Awww, little BW is just like her father. Although living out here in CO we don't get too many storms so he hasn't had many panic attacks lately.

Thanks for the reminder about gentleness!
